Wedding in Monserrate Palace – Portugal

Meet gorgeous Renata and Harry and their beautiful Portugal Wedding in Monserrate Palace. This couple is one of the sweetest and cutest husband and wife to be, that we photographed!

For mid-September, we just could not have asked for much better weather and climate, especially the wedding being in the heart of Sintra, that tends to be very very wet. Everything fell into place perfectly for these lovely two lovebirds and their families.

We have photographed many times at the Sintra Monserrate Palace, and we especially adore the stunning outdoors with Morrocan style architecture and the gorgeous little palace itself. A lot of the wedding was DIY, and friends have contributed significantly in helping the couple to make the day a dream come true for the couple.

The weather was perfect on the day, and they had an unseasonably warm and sunny day in the gorgeous Sintra Venue! As we were arriving at the venue a thin layer of cloud appeared which broke the harshness of the sun. Interestingly though, on the day after the wedding, the weather took a turn and became very gloomy, windy and wet.

The after ceremony cocktail hour was at the main venue entrance. There was a live music trio, and appetizers and Harry embellished the gorgeous day with his singing talent. Frank Sinatra´s best tunes were sung throughout the cocktail party which took us back to the golden 60ties. Then the couple made a great first entrance, and after speeches, dinner laughs and fun time all party move for a nightlong disco.

We were so lucky to be the photographers at this gorgeous couple´s Portugal Destination wedding. They are such a fantastic couple, and we are happy to have shared their story with you all.

Destination Wedding From Ireland To Sirmione, Italy

Jordan and Martin are an Irish couple who chose the suggestive setting of Sirmione on Lake Garda to celebrate their Destination Wedding with Italian taste and colors.On the morning of their wedding, the sun shone, and Sirmione was crowded as usual by tourists, a fantastic summer climate, the water of the lake and the sky were of an intense blue. We waited for the bride and groom before the ancient Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, the ceremony was intimate and moving.

Soon after they got married, we spent a few minutes together in the location of the reception for the photos with friends and relatives and then we took advantage of the beautiful light to shoot some pictures of the couple by the lake. Towards evening, between the smiles and the curious look of passers-by, we came to the location where the couple went on with their dinner.

A beautiful day, the guys had the much desired Italian wedding, and we were so happy to tell this story.

A Mystique wedding anniversary at Santorini island

An intimate wedding anniversary photography session at Santorini island – Greece, renowned as one of the top 5 wedding destinations worldwide!

I received an email from Jon and Jen asked me to be their wedding photographer or more precisely their anniversary photographer.

Even their names match of this lovely and still in love (after a decade!!) couple from the USA!!

Now that I met them, I feel glad that I was available and undertook their photography project.

We started from their hotel at Oia village, I peaked them up from there, and we continued strolling within the graphical alleys of Oia.

My first impression was that they were a beautiful couple and my impressions were enriched by the quality of their personalities and the cooperative spirit they had!

Most of all, what impressed me was the feeling they share with each other after a decade of marriage. I was looking through the lens while photographing them and they were whispering to each other words of love and their body language was “shouting” these words!!

As I found out later, the guitarist and the planner had the same thoughts with me, and we all commented that it is extremely rare to find people feeling like that after a ten years marriage!!

After Oia, we moved to Imerovigli area and continued with the photo session. It seems that we got carried away as we enjoyed it very much and we realized it after receiving a phone call from the wedding planner who got a bit worried about the time plan.

We headed back to Oia and found somewhere park, a parking space that Jon characterized it as “creative” parking, just inches separated our car from other vehicles and the main road (I guess you need to be “creative” in such manner when parking at Santorini and Greek islands 🙂

I changed my clothes and wore something more appropriate for the ceremony that I was about to attend. (oh, there is no way to photograph at Santorini under the hot sun and sometimes extreme temperatures wearing a suit!)

And what an intimate ceremony that was!!

The hotel is called Mystique and not by chance! The balcony was just ideal for their vows renewal; the ceremony was intimate, simple and sentimental! In the company of the guitarist’s beautiful melodies, Jon and Jen danced for at least an hour non stop, enjoying the scenery and the nights refreshing breeze!

I was there to record that and here are the photographic results!

We arranged a new photo session of vows renewal with Jon and Jen after ten years!

We are so happy to have been part of it, happy to have been given the opportunity to write their love story. Siamo felici di esserne state parte, di aver avuto la possibilità di raccontare il loro amore. Un matrimonio allegro, colorato, un po’ fuori dalle righe, speciale; così come i due sposi che hanno letto le loro promesse e hanno espresso il proprio sì, davanti ai loro invitati ed al vicesindaco. Destination Wedding in Sicily Taormina

A beautiful couple from Uk chose our beautiful Sicily to crown their dreams and their love. The cornerstone of the wedding was the beauty of Taormina and wedding planner of “Taormina Weddings” organized the event. The day was full of emotions; Karen is a beautiful woman, she has taken care of all her kids, her future husband, and every other detail. There were tears, laughter, candid and compelling emotions. Martin is a very romantic man, and they love each other so much. What a special day for this fantastic family!
