Aimee and John’s wedding in Staffordshire

Aimee and John got married at the stunning venue The Upper House in Barlaston near Staffordshire.

It was a beautiful spring day with sunshine, showers and a magical relaxed atmosphere and everyone was in high spirits to ensure the happy couple had the best day of their lives. It was an honour to capture their Staffordshire wedding and Im delighted to have remained friends with the couple since the wedding.

Having a venue with such good grounds gave endless opportunities for wedding photography and its always good when the couple put a little time into their photographs.

A great day, and one of my favourite weddings to date.

Kent Wedding Photography in the “The Garden of England”

A Kent Wedding for a couple from Gibraltar who were just amazing to work for. So natural and full of love for each other. They married at a church near the bride’s grandmother and partied on a family owned farm in the lush Kent countryside. I loved every moment of their day and on the last update from Gibraltar I hear a new arrival is on the way! That’s what I call a love story.

Trash the dress wedding photos in Thailand

Karla and Davi choose Thailand for their wedding destination photo. They decided to take a trash the dress photo in Ayutthaya province. Because it will represent Thai’s culture very well. Ayutthaya province is a UNESCO World Heritage City. You can explore the ruin sites and temples across the city. Floating Market and elephant riding are very interesting activities that you won’t miss.

Fiddle Lake Farm Wedding

What can I say about this wedding at Fiddle Lake Farm in Thompson PA? Sarah & Mike choose to have a vintage barn wedding with around one-hundred and fifty guests in attendance on a foggy, rainy day in Pennsylvania. Both the bride and groom wanted their wedding day to be all about the details. They are both chefs who own a restaurant and catering service in Scranton PA so they knew exactly how to have a wedding in style. They choose the venue because it was one of the few places near Scranton PA where they were allowed to have a completely DIY wedding. They had high expectations for their wedding because they are around them every week at their catering business. The photography started out in the morning where I met Sarah at the bed and breakfast used by the bride and groom at the venue. Sarah made sure that she had a small wedding party so that her morning was relaxed and stress free. A few hours into the photography her grandmother showed up and I was able to capture some beautiful family moments that are probably some of my favorites from a wedding this year. Michael started out his day in an old barn with his groomsmen. They sat around playing cards all morning and we were able to capture some great moments of the boys just being boys.

The wedding ceremony was supposed to take place out in an open field but the rain forced us under a tent which I was originally sad about, but it made for some incredible ceremony pictures. Fiddle Lake Farm is a new venue that just opened up in Northeastern PA that I highly recommend for a DIY wedding. The owners are a husband and wife team and the staff is made up of their children. They really create an environment that is unique to the wedding industry here in PA.
