From their very first email it was clear how much Claire and Chris connected with our work and how much fun their wedding day was going to be! Highlights included the bus ride with all the guests and our gorgeous bride and groom, the comedic lads at the cigar party, the crazy dancing at the end of the night and loads of green sparkling confetti at one of the most fun couple sessions we have ever photographed. we are still finding all kinds of green sparkles in our bags three months later but it was completely worth it!

Stella & Dom’s New Years Eve Wedding

Stella and Dom got married at Ilkley Winter Gardens, North Yorkshire on New Year’s Eve. We never really get up to much on New Year’s Eve so when Stella and Dom enquired we jumped at the chance to capture their special day. Leading up to the date we had talked to Stella and Dom about all the photographic opportunities that there might be on the day, including sparklers and some night time confetti cannons. We try not to get too excited before weddings just incase they don’t live up to our expectations, but Stella and Dom’s wedding was the complete opposite! Throughout the day there were so many happy moments and amazing locations to capture we were spoilt for choice!

Stella and Dom had gone to great effort to make sure everything was perfect, making sure the venue was lit beautifully and the decorations suited the theme. With a black tie dress code and the bridesmaids dressed in floor length gowns it really did feel like old school Hollywood Glamour! Stella looked amazing and it was great to see all their friends and family share their day with them. When midnight struck and the confetti cannons went off we both wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else, it was a pleasure to shoot and a true testament to how much we love what we do!

Castles, Carriages and Fairy-tale Wedding Charm

Have you ever dreamt of a true fairy-tale wedding? The idyllic romance of Baroque castles, horse-drawn carriages and a touch of magical scenery? Well, radiant newly weds Martina and Matej were lucky enough to experience their big day within the warmth of a magical fairy-tale setting tucked away in renaissance-like beauty of northern Croatia.

Our excited couple simply wanted to grasp a timeless setting for their album. Somewhere which blends together a touch of history and classicism. A place which adds a sense of character and ambiance. The charm of the Trakoscan castle and the baroque town of Varaždin, known as the ‘Little Vienna’, certainly ticked all the boxes.

As soon as the day began and the reality of the day started to absorb – Martina and Matej literally became a prince and princess for the day! The dreamy hilly landscape becoming the backdrop for many of our shots gave us all original and charming results.

We simply loved the natural wooden bridges and the cream-stoned castle walls which really added a noble feel to the images. Matina and Matej rode away in a magical horse-drawn carriage just as if they were royalty celebrities – which is certainly how they felt!
