Danielle & Gavin’s Yorkshire Wedding

After an amazing start to Danielle & Gavin’s wedding day – with Chris photographing Gavin and his groomsmen having a great time in the hot tub and me with Danielle and her bridesmaids in a lovely hotel – the rain unfortunately came pouring down! We always try to reassure couples that it really isn’t the end of the world and if they just embrace the weather the photographs will come out amazing! It’s a true testament to couples with how the let it affect their day too, and Gavin and Danielle didn’t let a little rain dampen their day one bit! Danielle has set up a small business making wedding stationery and decorating shoes with amazing crystals. We could see the amazing effort she had gone to when we got to the Old Barn for the reception. So many great details to capture, and it really did look amazing. We took the happy couple out for some photographs by which time the rain had stopped and then left them to dance the night away!

Crazy in Love

This is the story of Simona and Stefano. They have chosen the wonderful venue of Villa Borromeo in Cassano d’adda for their reception in candy style and a magnificent church of San Marco in the center of Milan in Brera. Through our eyes we hope you can relive their strong and unforgettable emotions…

Manchester Midland Hotel Wedding Party

Lulu & Khalid’s Egyptian Wedding Party in Manchester City Centre, at the grand and imposing Midland Hotel.

Pixies in the Cellar Wedding Photography, Manchester, UK.

This Egyptian couple had tied the knot a few days earlier at the Egyptian embassy in London, in and out with no pomp or circumstance – so their wedding party was the day to shine and enjoy the company of lots of family and friends. The day was particularly poignant for Lulu, as it was to be her last day living in England, before she flew off to Egypt the next day to start her new married life with Khalid. We loved photographing their day, not only was it in Manchester city centre a great location for a mix of photography styles, but also Lulu was really up for some great iconic imagery and lots of energy filled Arabic dancing!

Vintage styled wedding on the Isle of Wight

It was a real pleasure to be the wedding photographer for this beautiful vintage wedding at Landguard Manor in the Isle of Wight, UK. Not only did it have lots of fabulous details, guests dressing the part and the wonderful setting of an 18th Century country manor house, but the rain cleared to deliver perfect English Summer sunshine.

The day started with preparations at the Manor House before I moved on to nearby Newport Methodist Church to photograph Kate’s arrival and the ceremony. Everyone then made their way back to Landguard Manor which had been transformed into a vintage village fete complete with a coconut shy, bunting and a ‘High Striker’ to test your strength. We had perfect light for some quick portraits and the judging of a ‘Bake Off’ where guests enter their home cooked cakes in a contest – something that’s growing in popularity in the UK. My coverage drew to a close after the wedding breakfast and first dance as the party continued into the night.

Kingston Maurward wedding in Dorset

A spring wedding and the first outdoor ceremony of the season as a Kingston Maurward wedding photographer.

Such a great couple to share the day with as they were so animated and easy to work with. Think its has to be one of my best confetti shots to date with the Bride just beaming her head off! So many enjoyable aspects to the day, from a friend of the bride serenading her down the aisle and singing Etta James ‘At last’ for the first dance, to two great memorable documentary shots being given.

One of the couple at the top table and a tender moment between them and their daughter and another from the speeches, with the step father paying tribute and catching both the Bride and Groom’s mother biting their lips and trying to hold back the tears!
