Barnsley House Winter Wedding – Liam and Louise

Barnsley House is a gorgeous Boutique Hotel nestling in the Cotswolds near Cirencester and was the home to Liam and Louise’s much awaited winter wedding.

In true British style, it was January which meant rain but this wasn’t going to put the dampers on this intimate occasion (a small gathering of twelve close friends and family…). It did mean though that the pictures from the day were predominantly inside the hotel mainly using the ambient light to keep the unique, cozy atmosphere of this wonderful place.

Here is a very small selection of images from the day…

Wedding Carol e Jose

Again I try to choose around 30 photos to post here, but I can never separate less than 100, and there is still a lot of legal photo outside,also, a wedding more beautiful than another  and couples so dear as Carol and Joseph are special to me for 3 reasons:

1) By being super ultra mega hyper dear;
2) have given me the honor to record time of such great significance in their lives;
3) Coming from a generation of friends who also chose me and that passed the indication below, Marcelo/Gabriela and Fabiana/Rodrigo, as well as other friends who, although I may not have photographed, always add comments to my favor. AND here is the proof of the quality of the services rendered is passed on by word of mouth. Now, we are the beautiful, cheerful, colorful, exciting images.

Alex and David – UK Spring Wedding at Wotton House

One thing to get clear straight away: Alex and David were brilliant fun and a wedding photographer’s dream. We’d first met at gorgeous Wotton House in leafy Surrey late last year for their pre wedding shoot and the two of them didn’t stop laughing throughout and were obviously very much in love. I remember saying to them that if they were as relaxed on their wedding day as they were here on their pre wedding shoot then their pictures would be very special indeed. And they didn’t let me down.

So here we are: blessed with a fantastic, warm Spring day (after so much miserable weather) and the shots outside especially really sum up how wonderful their Surrey wedding was. As I mentioned, David and Alex were utterly charming and a pleasure to work for and this shines through in their gorgeous wedding pictures.

Hope you like them…

SS Great Britain – Cara and Harvey’s Bristol Wedding Photography

Harvey spends his life as the captain of a luxury yacht somewhere very hot and beautiful with Cara on board alongside him as the cordon bleu chef so it seemed only right that they should have a nautically themed Bristol wedding. And what better place than Bristol’s SS Great Britain – a completely different, historical, quintessentially British venue with brilliant opportunities for daringly different photographs for those daringly different.

We were on board the ship from beginning to end (apart from Cara’s bridal prep across the water in the morning…) and really made the most of what it had to offer. Have a look for yourself…

Gloucestershire Wedding – The Bear of Rodborough, Rodborough Common

As someone who moved from London only two years ago, Rodborough Common is probably the place that first made me think I’d made the right decision: stunning scenery, great pub and hotel (The Bear of Rodborough) and a really beautiful place for photography. So when I got a call from James and Sarah asking me to photograph their Gloucestershire wedding there then I was of course thrilled, especially when they agreed to venture out on a little excursion up on to the common for some really special moments with that backdrop.

Their wedding was of course wonderful but it is the pictures on Rodborough Common that really made their day and I’m sure wedding album…
