Hook Head, Ireland – post wedding shoot with Amand and Will

It is not often that I spend a lot of time capturing epic post ceremony wedding shoots, mainly because I am commissioned to document. However, some clients are more adventurous than others and are willing to invest the time. Sometimes the pay-off is big. Introducing Will & Amanda, married last September in Wexford, Ireland. The plan was always to take a quick trip to Hook Head, Co. Wexford to get some images. This is Europe’s oldest lighthouse.  The area is renowned for its natural beauty and the light is always spectacular there. We scouted locations in advance and planned meticulously where we were going and what we were doing – all to save time on the day. We spent a total of 45 minutes there. Here is what we got …

finally, here are the rest of the images: http://www.aspectphotography.net/site/media/amanda&william/video/

Shan and Pete, Kiama, South East Coast, Australia – 10.10.10

I’m going to keep this brief in fear of going too overboard with long winded descriptions gushing with stories of this wedding being the; funnest, coolest, warmest, freshest, most honest, most beautiful wedding, I’ve been fortunate enough to document. Replace ‘wedding’ with ‘bride and groom’ and you get the short version of the big picture.

Shannon and Pete got married at a place called Bush Bank in Kiama, which is on the South Coast of New South Wales in Australia. They got married on the 10th October, 10-10-10, and for everyone involved their wedding was nothing less than a 10 out 10.

I really hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed capturing them.

“Brides on their own”

Hey All,

As a quite new member, I have been enjoying looking at the work that’s being presented on the blog…..and loving it!! Well done, keep up the amazing work!!

OK, so first time blogging….(Little nervous..hahaha)..going to apologies straight up front as I am not the most savy blogger/ writer…… Not only that, I just seem to never get time to do either!

I was just reflecting over my past few weddings and one thing that stuck out to me is how much I love to photograph my brides just on their own. I am always amazed how much love/ thought & detail goes into everyone of them.(Gowns/ Dresses that is)

I always want to try and emphasize that…..not just a ‘straight to camera’ “smillie” shot….(I do that too) but something that’s just a little different.

Anyways, I do have some “FULL ” all the way through weddings to show you all (And I will get around to it V soon) but I thought I would do something a little different and show off some of my beautiful bride “On their own” Images.

Please Enjoy!!
