Ice Hotel Wedding

Im back to tell the of the Ice Hotel , north of the artic circle in Kiruna Northern Sweden .  The destination wedding for a Scottish couple was held in early January , the Ice Hotel must be the ultimate place for a winter wedding.  I prepared for everything  like usual … but nothing can prepare you for minus  32 , it made the problem of only having daylight for less than an hour very easy.  I knew it was cold when I saw the huskies shivering !  … the photo very below of my eyebrow and eyelash  was from being outside  for just 5 minutes , I came back with frostbite of the index finger  my left hand thumb and the tip of my nose from pressing against the D3 .  Dont feel sorry for me though Sam the bride just had her wedding dress  and I had 5 layers of clothes on with two pairs of gloves .   Inside the church the temperature a cosy minus 20  and the hotel itself a warm minus 10 .

 This is one of my favorite wedding for 2010.We had everything…good looking groom,georgeous bride lots of traditions an d pj shots and next day shooting in Budapest Hungary.

The only setback was the temperature there…-4 celcius and snowing…brrrrrr !!!

But if  i was back in time i will do it again even if temp its even lower.LOL

On December 30th, Genevieve Sheehan from Tampa Florida & Troy Meyer from Brecksville, Ohio were married in St. Mary’s Church in Navan, Co Meath, where her grandparents had tied the knot 56 years previously. They met through the TV show Jeopardy! – the story behind how they met was so special that that New York Times sent a photographer and reporter to cover the story. Take a look here.
