Summer weddings in Scandinavia

Sweden is becoming the paradise for couples looking for the perfect destination wedding.

Besides the sun that never sets in the summer, making it a perfect scenery  for all night parties outdoors, the Swedes still haven’t adopted the Euro as their currency, which makes every fare related to wedding costs much MUCH cheaper than any location in Europe.

If the couple has a foot in the country, there is absolutely no reason for not having your international celebration with the fun vikings.

That’s what the Swedish Rebecca, and her love from Australia, Andrew, decided to do. Both living in England for many years, they couldn’t think of anywhere else to be rather than beautiful Stockholm.

Their wedding was celebrated last Saturday in Sweden’s most famous park, Skansen, and in Stockholm’s oldest tree church, the Seglora Church.

Sun, rain, wind, warmth and chilly winds. Everything we needed to a perfect wedding shoot!

Emotions high altitude

Some pictures made during my service in February 2010
Emotions high altitude pictures taken in unusual locations around 1800 meters altitude. The winter day but with a beautiful blue sky. This wedding has been made in the mountains near Lake Como in Italy, a location with strong contrast between mountains and lake. For shooting outdoors, we reached the summit of the mountain with a helicopter …. needless to say the emotion and joy of the newlyweds when they saw the beautiful scenery with their eyes.  The light at this altitude is fantastic, and natural and emotional.

The bride and groom on the snow to take pictures unique and unusual.
I do not happen every day to be in a location like this, maybe it would impossiile to reach!

The wedding ends with a nice show of fireworks!

Boston Navy Yard Wedding- Sally & Matt

Sally & Matt  9.19.09

When we first met Sally and Matt, we never imagined that their wedding was going to be this visually exquisite. As a Boston Wedding Photographer, we are lucky to have clients like them.

Sally was so low-key about the whole process and when I asked her how she did it, she responded, “Oh, I know, everything just fell into place. And it seemed like for every detail, vendor, or staff we got more than we expected. “ Like magic. Yeah, that’s pretty much how we feel about them- they are the magical Boston couple. And to top it off, Matt sang “Shook me all night long” by ACDC. Hilarious!

Matt and I are blown away by the lighting, angles and moments you guys captured!  It is going to be a hard task to sort through our favorites… We spent over 3 hours looking at the photos today and I watched the ACDC slideshow at least 10 times!  …We enjoyed working with you guys so much and the moments you have have helped us capture will be cherished.”

destination wedding in greece

Alex and Karims Mykonos wedding was a perfect family celebration , the gentle winds touched everyone as did the speechs and tears, this was truly a beautiful wedding on Mykonos. The venue was Santa Marina Resort overlooking the Bay of Onos. The Santa Marina resort is surrounded by blue sky and the Aegean Sea. Mykonos is a picture-postcard come to life with its whitewashed churches, windmills, quaint cobbled streets and pristine beaches, this stunningly beautiful resort that captures the very essence of Greece. This place is a wedding photographers dream, I cant wait to go back.
