Alex & Jennie Wedding by Brett Harkness

We had so much fun on this wedding and produced some beautiful images. It was a very relaxed day with the wedding taking place a few miles away at St.Catherines Church in Chipping Campden. After a lovely service everyone made there way back to the venue where everyone relaxed on the law with drinks & canapes. After an hour or so we took some family pictures and then went for a walk with Alex & Jennie and the bridal party around the grounds for 20-30 mins. Here are some images from the day. We look forward to you both seeing the rest.

Zulaika & Mark | Maui Destination Wedding

I met Zulaika and Mark about a year ago at a mutual friend’s BBQ here in Calgary.  That mutual friend was also a client who’s destination wedding I photographed in the Dominican Republic.  Our mutual friend had told me that Zee and Mark were planning on getting married in Hawaii and were looking for a photographer.  Most people who know me, know that Hawaii is my most favorite place on the planet.  I have always wanted to shoot a wedding in Hawaii, so naturally I had to throw my stick in the pile (hockey reference), hoping they’d want to consider me.  Consider me they did!  Before we even went to Hawaii, I got to know Z&M a little better and they soon felt like a couple friends that I have always known.  Both of them came to Calgary from the UK when Zee got transferred at work, so most of their guest were from the UK.  They even had friends and family from the UAE and Spain.  This was a true destination wedding and I was more than happy to be their photographer.
