Santorini Japanese Wedding

I have always had a thing for Japanese culture. Everything about Japan attracts and fascinates me: the harmony and simplicity of its art and aesthetics, the wisdom and profoundness of its philosophy, the poetic photography of its films, the delicate musicality of its language, and the natural kindness of its people. So you can imagine my excitement when I found out that Misa and Kai, whose wedding I was to shoot in Santorini, actually had Japanese roots! The choice of Santorini did not come as a surprise to me, as I was well aware of the popularity of this magnificent volcanic island as a wedding destination – especially among couples from the Far East.

It is always a delight to work with such lovely and sweet-tempered couples; they bring out the best in me and make me wish to do my very best to ensure their wedding photos will make them smile every time they look at them.

Santorini Gem, on the hill near Santo Wines, gazing over the spectacular gulf of the caldera and the endless Aegean blue, was an ideal venue for Misa and Kai’s wedding ceremony. The peaceful, idyllic environment, bathed in the magical Greek light, provided the perfect backdrop for the celebration of their love.
Misa and Kai, I really want to thank you for honouring me with your trust and for allowing me to be part of the incredible experience of your wedding in Santorini!

East meet west wedding in Thailand

The wedding photography of Victoria and Garrett from Krabi, Thailand. They both love sacred Thai ceremony and the beach wedding. Then, they combined the traditional  Thai wedding (water pouring ceremony & the monk ceremony) to the ring exchange on the beautiful beach of Bamboo island, Krabi. The wedding reception was held on the same night at Zeavola resort, Phi Phi island.

A few days later, we went to Huay Toh Waterfall elephant trekking to take a post wedding photography there. Victoria dream of her wedding photo with an elephant. But it was impossible to bring the big animal to the isolated island like Phi Phi and Bamboo island. Then, we had to find more information about the elephant camp in Krabi. At last we found that Huay Toh Waterfall is the best elephant camp which is hiding in the jungle. We booked a private trip for the couple. The photo turn out so beautiful with greenery scene.

Wedding in Villa Balbianello – Lake Como

I shot a lovely Russian wedding at the fabulous Villa Balbianello in Lake Como area. Oxana and Leonid were so awesome and relaxed. It was a great pleasure working for them and their guests. Everything was perfect from the weather to the ceremony to the music. I got some great images. Enjoy!

Wedding at the Turner Contemporary, Margate

A wedding at the Turner Contemporary is always going to be a bit special. Set in the seaside town of Margate, in Kent, the art gallery only opened it’s doors to weddings 18 months ago, and I’m so pleased they did – it’s big airy windows and clean lines make it such a lovely place to photograph in, and thankfully I finally got my wish to shoot there during Annabel and Ian’s wedding.

Suggestion for RAIN weather Wedding

Located in Interlaken Switzerland, Cindy and Pascal Zeller are truly spoiled by the surrounding nature of the UNESCO Heritage site – The Jungfrau Region of the Bernese Oberland.    Year round snow capped glaciers and pristine blue lakes of the Thunersee and Brienzersee serve as a perfect setting for everlasting wedding images. Lush green cow filled fields and alpine wild flowers are sought out backdrops for all Brides & Grooms in the Swiss Alps.

Although the majority of weddings this year were sunny and dry, for Isabelle and Christoph the day started dark and dreary with a mix of snow and rain and cold. Earlier the same week it was warm spring “ shorts weather” . Determined to not let the weather hamper the day they had a great idea. Let`s go to the Movies ! Luckily the manager permitted us to have an hour to ourselves before the matinee started at the Kino Rex in Thun.  THANK YOU !

We wished to share Isabelle and Christophs ” wedding portrait session” with inspiration to make the most of any weather.
Remember, no matter what happens with “ weather “ on the wedding day, keeping the mood of exhilaration, the flexibility to photograph different ideas than originally imagined, and creating images the wedding couple will cherish lifelong is key to our success.
