When I say “scream” I really mean it! Of course you could also substitute that with squeal,yowl, yip, or shout for joy! The cause? Last Sunday’s engagement session! With the onset of warm weather the session was a celebration of all things spring! From picnics to ice-cream trucks, you know Punxsutawney Phil {the groundhog} was right when he didn’t see his shadow!
The endearing duo who captivated us with their beaming smiles and infectious laughter was Jillian & Mike {J’s happens to be the editor behind an uber distinctive blog “Pretty Little Weddings“}. The couple has been together for 8 years and are counting down the days till their June wedding!
There is so much fresh air packed into these images you might as well us them as a “scratch n’ sniff”. Breath deep and get ready to fall in love!

Beautiful engagement portrait session. I love the use of the picnic blanket and foods to create a story rather than just a few portraits. And of course, the ‘disguises’ are brilliant. Did you plan all of these props, or did the couple?

Thanks! We worked with the couple to plan the ideas:) But they brought everything except for the ice-cream truck! Jillian had a great eye for detail!!
