On December 30th, Genevieve Sheehan from Tampa Florida & Troy Meyer from Brecksville, Ohio were married in St. Mary’s Church in Navan, Co Meath, where her grandparents had tied the knot 56 years previously. They met through the TV show Jeopardy! – the story behind how they met was so special that that New York Times sent a photographer and reporter to cover the story. Take a look here. These are some of my favourite shots from the day:

Fascinating black and white photos. And such a wonderful wedding story … meeting on Jeopardy … plus the element of history … marrying in the very same church where her grandparents were married. Thanks for sharing this!
The last three images are simply amazing. I keep looking at them over and over again.
Loving the all B and W… Keep wanting to offer that for my clients… Hmmmm, maybe a new package? Gotta think about that… Nice work here though.
Exceptional imagery and a beautiful wedding story.
Wonderful wedding photojournalism. The lighting and quality of the black and white shots are incredible.
great work, fascinating!
Gorgeous shots and a touching story. I especially like the shot with the shadows of the arches and the couples’ profiles!
Amazing photography. You captured the beauty and details of the church so well.
As an avid follower of Jeopardy and trivia, this blog posting really caught my eye. A real life wedding story accompanied by gorgeous imagery. Thanks so much!
Great use of light. Love your black and whites.
Such extraordinary work and perfection. You are fabulous and an inspiration to aspiring photographers. And Genevieve and Troy must be over the moon with these fantastic memories to view over and over again. Any bride and groom who is lucky to have you photograph their wedding is lucky indeed. Forget the lottos .. this is much better.
