Madison Wedding Photographers | Bradley Hanson Photography

Nestled on a “land bridge” between two large lakes, Madison is a picturesque town filled with plenty of fun things to do—and great spots for Madison wedding photographers to take fantastic pictures. With miles of trails, acres of parks and a packed pedestrian mall, your wedding photographer will have abundant spots for photos that capture your unique personalities. Grab your beloved and your photographer and hit some of the town’s top highlights. If you and your sweetheart are outdoorsy, consider taking wedding photos along the Lakeshore Path, by Picnic Point or perhaps at the Arboretum. Of course, if you want to get really physical, you can head over to nearby Devils Lake for a more rugged hike or even a bit of rock climbing – definitely a great way to “trash the dress” post-ceremony! If you’re looking for something a bit more serene, consider renting a sailboat from the Hoofer’s club, or have your Madison wedding photographers take some shots of you and your betrothed smooching along the shores of Lake Mendota, then grab a local brew or some freshly-made ice cream from the University of Wisconsin Union. If you’re feeling stately, head to the Capitol Building where your wedding and engagement photographer can capture your love on a grand scale. Stand on the marble steps or play in the lawn, then stop by L’Etoile’s bakery for some flaky croissants. For something fresh, try taking some pictures at the UW’s Allen Centennial Gardens, a quiet botanical paradise nestled on the west side of campus. Or, head over to Olbrich Botanic Gardens where you can enjoy the fresh blooms and explore the Thai Pavilion. The Farmer’s Market on Capitol Square is always a good bet for colorful and fun photography – and can be an especially fun spot for engagement pictures. Whatever locations you and your Madison wedding photographers choose, just make sure that you incorporate plenty of fun and take time to enjoy this special and important day. Be sure you let them know you found them on Best of Wedding Photography.
