Immediately the bridesmaids\u2019 mouths hit the floor in awe of her pure beauty and after a few quiet moments, there was an eruption of the loudest screaming of\u00a0excitement\u00a0ever. It was one of the best reactions we have ever seen and right then, we knew this was going to be an amazing day.<\/p>\n<p>Allison and Shane held their wedding ceremony in a\u00a0beautiful old church in North Portland.\u00a0\u00a0One of our favorite moments was being able to capture Allison having a quiet moment with her dad before walking down the aisle. He was an emotional father and when he saw Allison in her dress, he fondly credited Allison\u2019s mom for raising his beautiful daughter.<\/p>\n<p>Following their touching wedding ceremony we headed out to their wedding reception at\u00a0<a title=\"Arista Ballroom Wedding\" href=\"http:\/\/danielstarkphotography.com\/blog\/www.aristaballroom.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Arista Ballroom<\/a> on one of Portland\u2019s\u00a0hippest\u00a0streets,\u00a0Hawthorne\u00a0Blvd. \u00a0Allison\u2019s family is originally from the south and have that classic southern charm that we love being around. Given that and the fact that their wedding was so close to Mardi Gras, it was only natural to thrown in a little New\u00a0Orleans\u00a0style, complete with bright colored umbrellas and beaded necklaces. It was an electric night that we will remember for a long time.
