My family has been the subject of my personal photography work for over 10 years. For me, image making satisfies a personal curiosity driven by the need to understand and appreciate those I love. With the same artistic sensitivity, I bring this storytelling approach to wedding days.

Ultimately, my goal is to capture meaningful images that feel the way you felt on the day you said “I do.”

I don’t like to follow fads, using the same gear and techniques as everyone else. The method is about crafting images that are as ageless as your bond, images that hold their power and emotion long after trends have come and gone.

I take the artisan’s approach. Choose the best tools for the moment.

I blend in and avoid directing the action, capturing splendor and authenticity as they happen. I truly believe that there is beauty in the unscripted, that the truth of the moment is lost when the photographer intervenes.

But then I wandered into photography, and found myself with a camera that rarely ever left my hands. And I realized that I wasn’t meant to create those fabulous little worlds with amazing characters. I was simply meant to see them.

I love making photographs. Entering people’s worlds for a day or a week, or a few months, and laughing with them and their families. I love surprises, unexpected twists, and the brilliant little unchoreographed moments of life…. and I love being the person who gets to document them all for others to enjoy.
