Mexico Wedding Photographers

From the hustle and bustle of Mexico City and Acapulco to the serene waters of Cancun and Cozumel to the rich cultural history of Merida – there is a spot for every kind of bride and groom in Mexico.

As soon as you and your beloved pick the perfect venue to say “I do”, talk with your Mexico wedding photographer to plan your engagement and wedding photography sessions. With so many amazing Mexican locales to choose from for gorgeous photos, you’ll want to start thinking about your photos sessions early.

If you and your sweetie are into urban chic, consider doing your engagement or wedding photos in a hip section of downtown Mexico City or even Acapulco. Sip a cup of coffee in an outdoor café, browse handmade goods in a colorful marketplace, or snack on sumptuous treats from a street-side vendor.

In Mexico City, grab your Mexico wedding photographer and head to the city’s largest park – Bosque de Capultepec. If you’re up it, check out the nearby Castillo de Capultepec. Or head over to Alameda Central, where you and your beloved can smooch under the shade of the gorgeous trees and pose by the stately architecture of the nearby buildings. Stop by Arroniz, and enjoy the lovely square (and the fabulous art!).

For something a bit more romantic and fun consider boarding a trajinera (a decorated boat) in the canals of the ancient Lake Xochimilco. Or, if you’re looking to get away from it all while still having some skyline views, why not check out the quaint Desert of the Lions monastery just outside of the city?

In Acapulco, have your Mexico wedding photographer snap shots of you and your love holding hands on the sandy beaches or splashing in the waves. Try the lovely Isla de la Roqueta, or ask your Mexico wedding photographer for suggestions. Of course you’ll also want to spend some time in the main plaza—Zocalo, where you can recline under the shady trees or practice your smiles near the beautiful cathedral.

For something more historical, consider a photo session at or near El Fuerte de San Diego, the 17th Century fort that protected the Spanish merchant ships from Dutch buccaneers. If you’re craving something a little more green, consider visiting Acapulco’s beautiful Botanical Gardens.

If you and your beloved are looking for something off the beaten path, consider Puerto Escondido, not far from the beautiful resort area of Huatulco (in Oaxaca). Enjoy the quiet beaches and the good food.

Of course, these few spots just scratch the surface of what’s available in this picturesque country. Talk with your Mexico wedding photographer and see if there’s a locale what is even more perfect for your special photos!
