My full name is Ray Anthony Iavasile, and I accept commissions to artistically photograph “documentary wedding stories” across the country and beyond. I have two showroom locations to meet personally: Villa Park in Orange County, California and Birmingham, Michigan.

I am motivated by a love and passion to photograph what is real: real life, real moments, real emotions, real people. My style is specifically documentary and often called “wedding photojounalism.” Having come from a career in Hollywood behind the camera, I have taken the good and the bad from the movie industry. I don’t want to create something phony or suppositious, but rather, to find the existent and authentic story, reality with all of its beauty and flaws. I have mastered the “art” of telling the story photographically.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Photography from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. My work has been published in several bridal magazines and I am listed in several preferred vendor lists from prominent venues. I have held memberships with PPA, WPPI, WPJA, and ISPWP. I have also been the recipient of the Top Knots Wedding and Event Photography award as well as Wedding Wire’s Brides’ Choice awards.

Audrey also loves incorporating color and the beauty of bright light to produce an image that is epic and unforgettable.

We often become friends with our clients (occupational hazard). We love them and hear that they love us. I can’t even tell you how happy this makes Michael and I! We believe it makes life (at least wedding day life) much easier on our clients. Just think of how much of the wedding day is spent with the photographer(s)! We feel it’s not only our job to take amazing pictures, but to also be people you can feel calm and happy around on your big day.

As a witness, Marta captures not only the essence of each couple’s individuality and the depth of their emotion, but their hearts and souls—making even ordinary moments timeless treasures. Smiles become heirlooms. Glances become secrets shared forever.

Marta combines her passion for photography with her enthusiasm for travel. She has photographed weddings throughout different states in the US, as well as Puerto Rico and her native country Poland. There is no place she wouldn’t go to photograph her next wedding!

With a background in music his passion, vision and imagination sets him apart time and time again. Michael’s belief that capturing the soul of the photograph is essential to the consciousness and personality of every moment and every story.

His love of photography goes beyond taking pictures, but sharing his knowledge with those eager to learn. He has conducted workshops and education sessions for photographers and students in the USA, Canada, and Malaysia.

Phototerra Studio, which Michael founded in 2003, has locations in Montreal, Toronto,  and will soon be opening in New York.

Michael and the studio have been recognized globally, as he has been the recipient of the 1st place prize for photojournalistic photography two years in a row, winning the most awards in various categories in 2009, and winning the Grand Award in 2010 at the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International Association (WPPI). In the past three years, he has had over 60 accolades of excellence at the WPPI, and he’s been voted as on of the top ten 10 wedding photographers in Canada.

We travel anywhere and everywhere with the intention of transforming the wedding scene – by picking it up, breaking the status quo, shaking it some more, and putting it back in a new and better form.
