Photographer RE was created 7 years ago through my love of photography. Home base is located in Branford, CT though I travel throughout the United States capturing amazing moments for my clients.

One of my newest ventures is incorporating video with still photography, which allows you to relive your special moments in a unique and more complete way.

Photography is my life’s calling and passion and sharing it with you is rewarding. I love my work and how just glancing at a photograph can bring you right back to a particular moment. The memory of any occasion can be preserved through great photography. I’m honored to be able to create imagery that you’ll cherish for a lifetime.

The colorful Carla Ten Eyck lives with her husband of ten years and their totally great kids Jack and Georgie in Hartford, CT. With two associate photographers on staff, Carla runs her studio out of her renovated childhood home.

At your wedding Carla’s easy going personality will put you and your family at ease so that all you focus on is having a great time!

In addition to photographing a plethora of weddings in the New England area, Carla loves to teach photographers to step outside of their comfort zones and grow as artists in monthly photography workshops called Ten Eyck Tuesdays.

Her ability to teach, and inspire is evidenced by her consistently packed workshops and speaking engagements as well as a successful and loyal student-base.

Carla enthusiastically breathes energy, excitement and fun into everything she does from turning ideas into reality; to shooting in new locations around the globe and to simple things like laughing with her kids and spending time with her friends.

Glen has over 10 years experience as a professional photojournalist and has worked all over the world in such countries as Bosnia during their civil war, Cuba, Venezuela, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Eastern Europe, Iceland, The Azores, Canada, India and all over the USA.

Currently, Glen is the Director of Visual Journalism at the New England School of Photography and a regular contributor to the Boston Herald. His work has appeared in The Boston Globe, USA Today, Marie Claire, Brides Magazine and distributed world-wide through wire services such as The Associated Press and Getty Images. He contributed to Chris Price’s best-selling book on the New England Patriots, The Blueprint.

He is an award-winning member of the National Press Photographers Association and the Wedding Photojournalists Association.

He lives in the Boston area with his wife & partner and two young daughters and is currently working on a book and short documentary on their road trip through Mexico and Central America. You can see images and text from their trip at the blog: www.travelingfamilycircus.com.

This isn’t just a job for Asha and I. Our life is full of visual imagery just ask our two little girls who’s young lives are so well documented on an almost daily basis. Whether I’m staying late working an after-party for a sweet shot of my clients playing pool in full wedding attire or simply scouting out a location prior to the big day, I’m always shooting. This is as important to us as it is to you. We want beautiful, telling images from your wedding day maybe even more so than you do, and we know that this take dedication above and beyond the norm.
