Deborah Coleman is a professional photojournalist, and has worked in the industry for over a decade. Prior to becoming a wedding photographer, she was posted in the White House during the Clinton administration, and worked as a newspaper photographer in Florida, Texas and California. The San Francisco Bay Area is home, but she travels all over the world on assignment. Deborah approaches weddings with a photojournalistic style, while using light, color, and her artistic eye to capture and transform moments into memories.

I believe in self-expression, love and laughing your ass off. I look for the humor in life as well as the beauty.

Starting out over ten years ago as a music photojournalist, I photographed promotional portraits and live shows for magazines and record labels. At one point, I put down the camera and picked up the bass, playing in a few bands. Turns out I’m much better with the camera.

Everything clicked after shooting my first wedding. The pace, emotion and unpredictability was similar to a rock show, yet my gear was free of sweat and spit and I came home with fewer bruises. The couples were my rock stars.

In addition to documenting events, families and music, I freelance for the Seattle Weekly and shot the Stranger’s Club Directory column for its five year run. My work has been published in Spin, The Seattle Times, Paste, Nylon, Magnet, PDN, Seattle Metropolitan Bride & Groom and on a number of wedding blogs.

Justine Ungaro’s signature style of of clean, modern, classic wedding photography keeps her up in the air between the two US coasts as well as everywhere in between and at times abroad. One part adventurer, one part pajama-clad homebody, she has a chameleon-like ability to blend seamlessly into each wedding and practically disappears. Until she resurfaces again with a collection of timeless wedding imagery that is unique and personal to that couple while stylistically still very much her own. Justine operates with a singular principle above all others, that wedding photography should be flattering to the subjects, because after all…everyone wants to look good. Eight years of working with brides and grooms and families and then being on the other side of the camera as a bride herself have taught her more than a few things about weddings.

Having grown up in Washington DC as the daughter of a photographer, Justine now lives in Los Angeles with her husband and 2 maltese dogs. Most recently her work was published in Martha Stewart Weddings, In Touch Weekly and People Magazine. Justine also won top honors in the 2010 WPPI 16×20 Print Competition and in 2009 photographed the wedding of former American Idol judge Kara Dioguardi as well as the wedding of singer/ songwriter Lisa Loeb.

I’m Jasmine Star and I’m an international wedding photographer based in Orange County, California. Though I’ve garnished awards for my work and was voted Top 10 Wedding Photographer by American Photo Magazine (in 2009), my crowning accomplishment was making meatloaf for the first time last year. I, however, still need to work on making the meatloaf edible.

Beginning just four years ago, I developed a voice and online brand by leveraging social media and developing techniques to empower clients to become the voice of my brand. I live with my husband and fabulous dog, and at times struggle to determine who is my favorite. I love to eat chocolate, run on the beach, and spend too much time writing on my blog. I hope to take the wedding industry by storm. Or learn how to make meatloaf. Whichever comes first.

James comes from a fine art background in photography and has been using images to reveal the world around him since his awkward pre-teen years. After school for film & cinematography, Lisa went into theater production which lead to event/wedding design and coordination.
