Fenella & Joshua’s Wedding at St Luke’s Church in Chelsea

The bride got ready at The Pelham hotel in South Kensington, where she and the bridesmaids were photographed in the drawing room before leaving for St Luke’s Church.

The rain bucked down before the weddin service but stopped and the sun came out as everyone emerged from the church.

The reception was held at Chiswick House, an elegant neo-Palladian villa where the wedding breakfast itself was  in a marquee on the lawn. The band was fantastic and everyone stayed dancing until late into the night.

The weather changes throughout the day made for a great variety of photographs.

Sarah & Chris’s Yorkshire Wedding

Chris and Sarah got married late May in the beautiful St. Mary’s Church, Greenhow Hill. It was an amazing setting right in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, and close to our hearts too as it was not far from where Chris and I got married 6 months ago. It’s our favourite part of Yorkshire and possibly one of the most breathtaking places in the UK. Chris and Sarah then headed to their reception at Cracoe Village Hall in a VW campervan. We had chatted to Chris and Sarah before the wedding about stopping for an ice cream at Barden Bridge and getting some photographs but with the weather we have been getting this year we hadn’t kept our hopes up! However luck on was on our side – their day was perfect, glorious sunshine – just right for an ice cream! Chris and Sarah’s wedding left us both even happier to live in such a lovely area and to be able to shoot their wedding was a real pleasure.

Liz & Chris’s Yorkshire Dales Wedding

Liz and Chris had a lovely intimate wedding of close friends and family at The Angel Inn in Hetton, North Yorkshire. We love intimate weddings and with a setting as beautiful as this we were in our element. They held their ceremony in The Wine Cellar across the road from The Angel Inn, with candles lighting the room it set the atmosphere perfectly.

After the ceremony we drove Liz and Chris a few miles down the road to a location they had found on a walk, set high up on the Yorkshire dales it was a view worth seeing! They embraced the wild Yorkshire winds for a few minutes to get some of our favourite couple shots. We always say how amazing Yorkshire is for variety and beauty and this wedding definitely shows it off.

As The Angel Inn was only a mile down the road from their reception we walked together to Cracoe Village Hall. The sky was amazing with huge clouds and this amazing light that you don’t get often enough! Liz and Chris had decorated the Village Hall beautifully with lots of colourful lanterns and flowers. As they were expecting over 100 guests for their reception they held a hog roast buffet with a huge range of sides. It was so nice to see all their friends and family enjoying what was a perfect day.

Inner Temple London Wedding Photographer

On the morning of Karen and Ben’s wedding, Ben and the boys started the day in real style. After having a leisurely lunch at the Fountain Restaurant at Fortnum and Mason’s, they moved on for a game of snooker at The East India Club. Karen, who got ready at Inner Temple was just as relaxed. Work has taken her out of the country for a few months but she still managed to organise a huge amount while she was away. The Rabbi flew in especially for the service and having conducted Karens Bat Mitzvah is very close with the family. Fortunately Ben managed to break the glass at the end of the ceremony with the first attempt which is always a good sign. After a relaxed reception drinks and wedding breakfast, the speeches kept everyone entertained. As a barrister, Ben had no problem in standing up and speaking to a crowded room.

I have no idea how Karen and Ben had such a choreographed first dance considering they have hardly seen each other for the last few months. They filled the dance floor with their moves which finished in a fantastic dip! One more surprise awaited Karen at the end of the first set. Ben took to the stage and sung with the full band to a huge applause from everyone.
