We had so much fun on this wedding and produced some beautiful images. It was a very relaxed day with the wedding taking place a few miles away at St.Catherines Church in Chipping Campden. After a lovely service everyone made there way back to the venue where everyone relaxed on the law with drinks & canapes. After an hour or so we took some family pictures and then went for a walk with Alex & Jennie and the bridal party around the grounds for 20-30 mins. Here are some images from the day. We look forward to you both seeing the rest.

I seem to have got a bit of a cult following in London with young Iranian couples recently. Pegah & Hamed were getting married at a church in north London and wanted to have some very non traditional photos so I suggested the wedding party and I went for a walk around the area and we would see what we could come up with. I walked into an interior design shop with the bridal party and asked if we could use the shop for some impromptu photos and they said “sure no problem as long as we can have some of the photos!”.

On Friday I photographed the wedding of Paolo and Laura at Newham town hall in London, they live a two minute walk from the town hall and wanted some quirky and unusual photos in and around the area. It was a pretty cold winters day in London but we found some great locations in the basement and the ballroom of the town hall. Laura was wearing her mothers wedding dress (her mother got married 37 years ago!).

Sweden is becoming the paradise for couples looking for the perfect destination wedding.

Besides the sun that never sets in the summer, making it a perfect scenery  for all night parties outdoors, the Swedes still haven’t adopted the Euro as their currency, which makes every fare related to wedding costs much MUCH cheaper than any location in Europe.

If the couple has a foot in the country, there is absolutely no reason for not having your international celebration with the fun vikings.

That’s what the Swedish Rebecca, and her love from Australia, Andrew, decided to do. Both living in England for many years, they couldn’t think of anywhere else to be rather than beautiful Stockholm.

Their wedding was celebrated last Saturday in Sweden’s most famous park, Skansen, and in Stockholm’s oldest tree church, the Seglora Church.

Sun, rain, wind, warmth and chilly winds. Everything we needed to a perfect wedding shoot!

Some pictures made during my service in February 2010
Emotions high altitude pictures taken in unusual locations around 1800 meters altitude. The winter day but with a beautiful blue sky. This wedding has been made in the mountains near Lake Como in Italy, a location with strong contrast between mountains and lake. For shooting outdoors, we reached the summit of the mountain with a helicopter …. needless to say the emotion and joy of the newlyweds when they saw the beautiful scenery with their eyes.  The light at this altitude is fantastic, and natural and emotional.

I do not happen every day to be in a location like this, maybe it would impossiile to reach!
