Brighton Engagement Session with Rusha and Matt

It’s always such a pleasure to photograph a couple as full of energy and life as Rusha and Matt. Although I’m based in London they asked me if I’d head down to Brighton for the afternoon as they live there and wanted to capture places that were part of their daily lives. Their wedding, which I’m shooting in couple of weeks, is in rural Petworth in West Sussex, so these pictures also gave them an opportunity to try another location.

I always encourage couples to go somewhere completely different to their wedding for an engagement shoot so we can experiment and come up with something personal to them. Couples often say that they want to do an engagement shoot so that they feel more comfortable in front of the camera and get to know me a bit better and I can’t think of a couple where this hasn’t helped on their wedding day.

Having said that, the real benefit for them is getting a great set of pictures as most haven’t been photographed professionally before. Brighton’s one of my favourite town’s in the UK so I jumped at the chance to wander the streets with them before ending up on the beach at sunset. For once the weather in Blighty did us proud and we spent an awesome couple of hours together. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in a couple of weeks!

I’m pleased to be back in England after a hectic summer, take a look at my website for recent work and destination weddings in France and Italy.

Neha & Paul’s Engagement Shoot

We always try to make engagement shoots as fun and relaxing for couples as we can. Everyone is bound to be a little nervous in front of the camera so our aim is for the couple to feel completely at ease by the end of the session. We are lucky enough to live in such a good area for shoot locations and when Paul and Neha suggested Roundhay Park we thought it was a great setting. Having done a few there before we always like to re-visit an area and do something completely different, and seeing as Rounhay Park is one of the largest in the UK, we didn’t have any trouble finding amazing new locations! We loved getting to know Paul and Neha more on the shoot and am so excited to share their wedding, which was a few weeks ago, very soon!

Romance in Paris

It’s always special to blend your creativity with someone else’s. I recently got the amazing opportunity of doing a photo shoot of a talented dress designer based in Paris. The bride-to-be, wore 2 beautiful wedding dresses: ‘Segur’and ‘Iena’ They are both 100% hand made and unique. Her designs are customised to her clients with care and an eye for detail.

Location: Jardins du Trocadero, Eiffel Tower

Trash the dress wedding photos in Thailand

Karla and Davi choose Thailand for their wedding destination photo. They decided to take a trash the dress photo in Ayutthaya province. Because it will represent Thai’s culture very well. Ayutthaya province is a UNESCO World Heritage City. You can explore the ruin sites and temples across the city. Floating Market and elephant riding are very interesting activities that you won’t miss.

Unusual engagement session in Hvar, Croatia

Ana&Matija are adventurous souls. Not only they didn’t want the “usual” engagement session, but were so relaxed and spontaneous on the shooting that my job was simply to put myself on the right spot at the right time. Images were created in Sveta Nedilja, a small place in Hvar, Croatia are to be used in their wedding invitation.

Feel free to find more of my images at my website.

Enjoy!
